Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) is the first step for all of us in finding out our own status. VCT is not just having a blood test but is also a source of information on how to live positively, whether we are HIV positive or not.

This programme highlights the importance of knowing ones HIV status and suggests that routine testing may be an alternative way of combating the epidemic and reducing stigma.
