People living with HIV are at risk of suffering from opportunistic infections of the respiratory system. Some of these can be life threatening so treatment must be given as soon as possible. In this programme we learn about the different opportunistic infections of the respiratory system, such as TB and pneumonia. We also explain the importance of treating these infections as early as possible and how we can take care of our own respiratory systems and general health. |
