There are a total of 63 000 new HIV infections in children each year. In any year, there are approximately 244 000 children living with HIV, most of whom will die if they do not have access to life-saving ARV therapy.

This programme deals with first- and second-line regimens of ARVs for children, how they differ to that of adults and how to look after children on ARVs.
